There are services designed to meet the individual needs of the disabled student to the same extent that the needs of non-disabled students are met. This may be all general education, or a combination of general and special education services. It is very important you contact your child’s academic counselor or the Direction of Psychological Services if:
-Your child has an active special education individual education plan (IEP) you believe the school district is not currently aware of;
-Your child has an identified disabling condition that you suspect substantially limits their access to the regular curriculum or their ability to benefit from the general curriculum;
-You suspect your child has a disabling condition substantially limiting their access to the regular curriculum or their ability to benefit from the general curriculum.
